Mahmood Khan And The Journey Of A New Sound

The man who changed the dimension of music and perceived it with an all new vision, Mahmood Khan, is an extremely talented songwriter, music producer, singer, and filmmaker. Born and brought up in Pakistan, the young boy started his music career when he moved to Los Angeles, USA, in late 1980’s. However, his music career started much later in 1995 and after that Khan appeared as an artist who could perform all genres of music with ease.

Honored with several awards and titles during his fifteen year career, Khan is the most loved international artist. Khan has been recognized as the "Distinguished Talent" by the Australian Government, however, there are many things behind his successful career that were never brought into light. As any other artist, many critics proclaim Khan's success as his sheer luck. However, the incidences he faced and the hardships that tried to pull him were never counted. Not only does it show the hard times faced by Khan, but also the times when he was nationally and internationally awarded. Mahmood Khan is a proud owner of several titles in his music career. He is the first independent artist to get 50 million online video streams. He even topped the ARIA charts for bestselling music solo. All this has been nicely shown in the film.

The journey of Khan through all this makes Journey of a new sound. This documentary, of approximately 40 minutes, was released in 2011 and instantly got great response from Khan's fans. It inspired millions of young artists and his fans, who started to believe that everything is possible once you dare to dream.
