Mahmood Khan’s Take On Michael Jackson

Mahmood Khan is a songwriter, music producer, vocalist, and sound expert who has come all the way from Pakistan to develop his own identity across the globe. Khan is one of the few artists who have conquered the world music industry, regardless of background and nationality.

On the other hand, the late great artist Michael Jackson needs no introduction. Jackson is the man who revolutionized the concept of singing and dancing, and an individual who completely redefined pop culture. Michael Jackson has had a legendary career and has billions of fans worldwide.

The two artists come from extremely different backgrounds, but both have given a new life to live music. In a recent interview, Khan discussed his take on Michael Jackson. He spoke about creating his own label and releasing albums under his own name. Mahmood Khan said that when he launched his first solo album back in 1995, named “Fairytale,” he released it under his own label. Khan believes that due to the increasing popularity of various forms of music, it can be difficult for a newcomer to establish his own identity, and thus the urge to have his own label was justified.

Khan also emphasized the fact that Michael Jackson is the best example of talent, completely manipulated by the industry, leading him to believe that creating his own label was the best thing to do. The two pop stars are known for their intense and deep love for live music. Both have created it themselves on their own, with no “Godfather” helping them with success in the industry. Khan is right to say that MJ’s talent was not completely appreciated by the industry, and MJ would have never become as great an artist as he did if he did not have the courage to go solo under his own label.

Those who rely on others to give them a breakthrough in the industry will always keep on waiting, because truly good things come only to those who work to make something of themselves. So, establishing a music production label of your own may sound a little out of your league in the beginning, but it would pay off in the long run. Remember, it worked for Michael Jackson and Mahmood Khan.
