Mahmood Khan’s Tribute To The Bee Gees
They say behind every successful man, there is a woman. However, practicality says, behind every successful artist, there is an inspiration. All of us have seen many great artists and well-known public figures, being grateful to someone or the other for making them reach where they are today. Indeed, being humble is an important attribute when you are famous. The same applies to the music industry. Only the way of expression is a little different. In the music world, we do not say, we sing our heart out. Mahmood Khan has done something similar for the credit holders of his mainstream success.
As the world knows him today, Khan is a multi-talented artist who possesses qualities of song writing, music production, singing, and film making. But beyond all of this, Mahmood Khan is a modest and grateful person who always shows his gratitude towards the people he loves.
Marking the initial years of his music career, Khan received lots of love and motivation from the famous Bee Gees. The three Gibb brothers of the Bee Gees have had a great impact on Khan’s personal and professional life. While Khan learned a lot about music production from Barry Gibb, he imbibed all the technicalities of music from Robin and Maurice (the other two members of the Bee Gees).
As a token of gratefulness, Khan composed a song called “Secret Place” as a Tribute to the Bee Gees. This song was very finely produced, well written, and greatly instrumented by Khan. This shows the impact all the three Gibb Brothers have on Mahmood Khan.
This song was greatly loved by Khan’s fans as well. However, more than anything else, it was something close to Khan’s heart. As mentioned, Mahmood Khan shared relationships with the Gibb Brothers at different levels, his memories, too, are different with all of them.
Sadly, Barry Gibb is the only surviving member of the Bee Gees. At the demise of Robin and Maurice, Khan dedicated different albums to them showing his sorrow of their loss. In an interview lately, Khan accepted that the Gibb brothers are the people who inspired him the most and are one of those who have made him what he is today.
Indeed, Mahmood Khan is deeply attached to the Bee Gees and his tribute to them is just another way of showcasing the same.
