While the world music industry has appraised and applauded Mahmood Khan for his innate talent in the fields of music production, song writing, singing, and film making, there are some things that have always remained behind the curtain. His fans, the media, and other artists know him as an introvert person who excels at whatever he does. However, there are few things about Khan that will simply surprise everyone.

Even though he has always stayed grounded even after his mainstream success in the global music industry, Khan has given many reasons for his fans to love him.   • Khan had an early start in his career, but he appeared publicly, in his first official album, much later in 1995. Khan developed love for music when he was four years old. At that time Khan’s aunt died in Lahore, Pakistan and left a collection of 4000 records for him. Young Khan used to listen to these music records all day and even made his own little collection of the songs he loved the most.
In these records, there was music in all languages and Khan loved all of them. It was during this time he got inspired by the Bee Gees. In fact, Khan has a deep connection with all three Gibb Brothers, however, Barry Gibb is now the only surviving member of the band.
  • At the age of five, Khan had fallen in love with music. He himself learned how to play guitar. When he was seven, he was already playing music instruments like guitar and piano like a professional. Khan continued his art and grew to be one of the finest guitarists in the industry.
  • The journey of this young boy took a leap when he realized all he wants in life was Music! Music! And more Music! At the age of thirteen; Khan was able to write original songs in Urdu, his mother tongue and in English.
