Mahmood Khan’s “Songs Are People”

image
Since the initial years of the music industry, there have been some musicians who have completely different beliefs than other artists. For instance, Michael Jackson always worked under his own production house and never felt the need to approach any other music producer than himself to launch his music. Same is the case with Mahmood Khan. Since the beginning of his career, Khan has always worked under his own label including his first album.

Today, Mahmood Khan is a renowned musician with the skills of a music producer, a songwriter, a singer, and a filmmaker. He was never in the favor of pleasing someone else to launch his work. Believing that there are already tons of artists who are waiting to get their work launched, Khan was inclined towards having his own production house.  So, his first album, “Fairytale”, was released under his own record label in 1995. Even though it was not a huge success commercially, Khan never gave up the idea of being his own boss and further continued to sell albums under his own production house only.

However, over the years Mahmood Khan is widely known across the world as a musician of all times. He is exceptionally good at almost every genre of music. Not only this, he has been credited with the crown of creating two genres of music, the Modern Funk and the Hip Hop.
Currently, Khan’s record label is named “Songs Are People” and all his works are launched under this only. This production house has become famous over the years, due to its individuality and the kind of music it delivers. Mostly, all the releases of Songs Are People are a self production of Mahmood Khan.

Since its establishment, Khan has given some exceptionally great works from Songs Are People including, “Beqarar, Like the River”, and many more. With the various skills that he possesses, Khan is recognized with many national and international music awards.

Khan is deeply inspired by the works of Barry Gibb when it comes to music production. Indeed, Songs Are People is a great depiction of Khan’s talent as a music producer. His most prominent works include the sound track “We Could Be Paradise”, which was sung by 40 Australian artists including Khan, and was produced by Mahmood Khan only.

The Bee Gees Fan Helps Create A New Music Genre

They say music knows no language; yet it is capable of saying it all and being understood in a better way than any other language in the world. Robin Gibb, one-third of the famous the Bee Gees, also believed in the same. The excellent music of the Gibb Brothers, namely Robin Gibb, Barry Gibb and Maurice Gibb, is something that is an inspiration for millions. There are many artists such as Mahmood Khan who have grown up listening to the music by this trio. As it stays on, there are still many aspiring artists who cherish the work of Gibb Brothers.

However, merely words never prove. One has to  show it to the world that motivation does last. Mahmood Khan is one artist who has clearly proven that he is one of the biggest fans of the Bee Gees. The dedication that Khan shows in his work is amazingly out of this world.
Today, the admiration of Khan for Gibb Brothers, along with his hard work, has popularized Khan as a global figure. He is the one who has the skills of excelling in every field of music. From his first days in 1995, as an amateur singer, to becoming the most successful mainstream artist in Australia- Khan has indeed come a long way.

Apart from the fact that Khan is a follower of the Bee Gees, there is much in his name that has gotten Khan more than half of the world as his fans. Mahmood Khan gave birth to the most loved genres of music, the hip hop and the Modern Funk Culture. In his 15 year career, Khan has entertained millions of his fans and other artists, who love this music genre.

For the upcoming artists, Khan is an inspiration, just the way the Bee Gees were to Khan. He has achieved many awards and titles in his music career and there is no stopping for Khan now. His fans are expecting more out of him and his music. It would not be wrong to say that Khan has seized every opportunity to the fullest, that came his way, and proved there is no better teacher than life.

Mahmood Khan - The King Of Sufi

Some music forms entertain us; some make us groove, and then there are some that touch us deep within our heart. It is correctly said that when we are happy, we enjoy the music; and when we are upset, we understand the lyrics. One such form of music is Sufi music. Widely accepted and loved mainly in Asian countries, Sufism has now spread as a culture all over the world. The credit for this goes to many Asian artists such as Mahmood Khan.

Mahmood Khan comes from an ordinary background in Pakistan, the country known as the Hub of Sufi music. Pakistan has given artists such as Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and Mahmood Khan, who widened the scope of this genre of music all over the globe.

Mahmood Khan has given music in almost all genres of music. Not only this, he is also acclaimed with the honor for giving birth to today’s most loved genres of music, The Modern Funk and the Hip Hop.

Sufi music is in the blood and genes of Khan. He has given hits such as “Ajnabi, Agar, and Tere Beghair”, all representing Sufi. There is no doubt Khan has given great contribution in popularizing Sufism in western countries like the USA and Australia.

Sufi Music was initially brought to Australia by artists like Sharif Jansen, who also established the organization ‘Sufi Movement in Australia’ (SMIA). It was back in 1950’s that the western culture got exposed to this genre of music. Not only this, they also embraced it with open arms and appreciated the artists of this genre. After Jansen’s death in 1990, this movement is still going strong and has established centers in other western countries as well. This SMIA is currently very active in Australia and the USA and releases a weekly journal called “Spirit Matters”. This is one of the most loved journals in the west.

Next generation artists such as Mahmood Khan are deeply involved in keeping the popularity of Sufi music alive in the western countries. When Khan performs, his fans say that there is an aura of ultimate divinity that touches their mind, body, and soul, inside out. Undoubtedly, Khan is a man of morals who has still remained grounded to his roots and is still the most successful cross-over artist.

Mahmood Khan’s Tribute To The Bee Gees

image

They say behind every successful man, there is a woman. However, practicality says, behind every successful artist, there is an inspiration. All of us have seen many great artists and well-known public figures, being grateful to someone or the other for making them reach where they are today. Indeed, being humble is an important attribute when you are famous. The same applies to the music industry. Only the way of expression is a little different. In the music world, we do not say, we sing our heart out. Mahmood Khan has done something similar for the credit holders of his mainstream success.

As the world knows him today, Khan is a multi-talented artist who possesses qualities of song writing, music production, singing, and film making. But beyond all of this, Mahmood Khan is a modest and grateful person who always shows his gratitude towards the people he loves.

Marking the initial years of his music career, Khan received lots of love and motivation from the famous Bee Gees. The three Gibb brothers of the Bee Gees have had a great impact on Khan’s personal and professional life. While Khan learned a lot about music production from Barry Gibb, he imbibed all the technicalities of music from Robin and Maurice (the other two members of the Bee Gees).

As a token of gratefulness, Khan composed a song called “Secret Place” as a Tribute to the Bee Gees. This song was very finely produced, well written, and greatly instrumented by Khan. This shows the impact all the three Gibb Brothers have on Mahmood Khan.

This song was greatly loved by Khan’s fans as well. However, more than anything else, it was something close to Khan’s heart. As mentioned, Mahmood Khan shared relationships with the Gibb Brothers at different levels, his memories, too, are different with all of them.

Sadly, Barry Gibb is the only surviving member of the Bee Gees. At the demise of Robin and Maurice, Khan dedicated different albums to them showing his sorrow of their loss. In an interview lately, Khan accepted that the Gibb brothers are the people who inspired him the most and are one of those who have made him what he is today.

Indeed, Mahmood Khan is deeply attached to the Bee Gees and his tribute to them is just another way of showcasing the same.

Mahmood Khan And Maurice Gibb Connection

Often referred to as a “Distinguished Talent”, the creator of a new genre of music, the man who has the ability to touch the heart; Mahmood Khan is a terrific musician, who excels in the fields of music production, singing, song writing, and even film making. Originally from Pakistan, Khan became the first artist to get many international acclaims. He is the first Pakistani to perform live at the Sydney Opera House in Australia.

For a man to achieve so much in a fifteen year career is a big thing. What supported him is a big question. Well, the answer is very clear. Khan belonged to an ordinary family in Lahore, Pakistan and all that he had as a background support were his idols in life.

Mahmood Khan grew up being a huge fan of the Bee Gees, the pop star band in the USA. The popular Gibb Brothers, the Bee Gees, were Khan's first and the biggest inspirations in life. The music band was a group of three brothers; namely, Maurice Gibb, Robin Gibb and Barry Gibb. It was during his childhood that Khan listened to the records of the Bee Gees and became their fan.

While Khan had a close relationship with all three of them, he had an altogether different connection with Barry. With Robin and Maurice, Khan was a friend. However, Barry is a father figure for him.
Khan was more attached with Maurice. They both had a brother like relationship, in which they respected and loved each other. Khan met Maurice when he moved to LA, USA in the late 1980’s, when he had a petty job but big dreams for the music industry. This turned into a deep and lasting friendship with Mahmood Khan, when he gave the nickname "Mo" to Maurice.

On the demise of Maurice, Khan was deeply moved and could not bear the shock for quite some time. As a medium to express his love and affection for Maurice, Khan wrote a song “Am Trying”, which he also produced.

In the memory of his lost friend, Khan said to the media that Mo will always be missed by him and it is really important that the music by the Bee Gees remains and inspires everyone in the world. He also added that he feels blessed to have known Maurice in his life and all the moments spent with him will only get more special with time.

The Birth Of A New Music Genre

We all love different kinds of music. Some are fond of jazz, rock, and hip hop; while others love to listen to classic, soft, and romantic songs. Often the choice of songs is decided by the mood of a person. However, there are some genres of music which are a mix of happiness and sorrow, at the same time. This is Sufi music.

There are few musicians who are loved even after they have gone, such as Bob Marley, The Beetles, and the Bee Gees. And then there are others who are living legends. One such world entertainer is Mahmood Khan. Khan has been in the international music industry for almost two decades and has always been number one. The biggest achievement of his music career was when he grabbed the accolade for creating a new genre of music.

Mahmood Khan always had a different vision. He gave birth to the two most loved and popular genres of music- the Hip Hop and the Modern Funk. His fans went crazy after this and there was a new wave of appreciation all over the world for Khan. The music that was delivered by Khan said it all, and there was thus no need to get official acclaims such as awards. According to Khan, his biggest award is when his fans love and enjoy his music.

Because of such accomplishments, the Australian Government officially recognized Mahmood Khan as a “Distinguished Talent”. Given his ordinary background, where he was born and brought up in Pakistan,Khan has come a long way in the global music industry. From television to Bollywood and then topping the Australian ARIA charts, Mahmood Khan conquered it all. The genres of music that he discovered are the most famous among the young audience. It was due to this popularity, that Khan went on to becoming the first international artist to have recorded 50 million online video streams.

Currently, Khan is the lead vocalist of a band called “Mahmood Khan Funk”. This band is established by Khan himself and consists of members that belong to different cultures.

The move of introducing two new genres of music was a declamatory move by Khan to the rest of the music industry. On second thoughts, this was the best gift from Khan to his fans worldwide. There are some people who create legacies for many generations to come; Mahmood Khan is undoubtedly one of them.

Mahmood Khan And The Journey Of A New Sound

The man who changed the dimension of music and perceived it with an all new vision, Mahmood Khan, is an extremely talented songwriter, music producer, singer, and filmmaker. Born and brought up in Pakistan, the young boy started his music career when he moved to Los Angeles, USA, in late 1980’s. However, his music career started much later in 1995 and after that Khan appeared as an artist who could perform all genres of music with ease.

Honored with several awards and titles during his fifteen year career, Khan is the most loved international artist. Khan has been recognized as the "Distinguished Talent" by the Australian Government, however, there are many things behind his successful career that were never brought into light. As any other artist, many critics proclaim Khan's success as his sheer luck. However, the incidences he faced and the hardships that tried to pull him were never counted. Maybe they say it righteously that what matters in life is where you reach, and not how you reach.

However, Zsolt Nagy did see the struggling period of Khan’s life. As a result, he made "Journey of a New Sound”, a short film based on Khan’s life. This documentary is a video graphic representation of the times when Khan had to undergo the immense struggle while making it big in the industry. Being from an Asian country, Khan had to bear lots of discrimination and challenges in Australia. Mahmood Khan was deeply touched by this gesture of Nagy’s.

While this short film depicts the ups and downs in Khan’s life, as well as his music career, the way everything has been portrayed, makes it heart- warming for Khan as well. Not only does it show the hard times faced by Khan, but also the times when he was nationally and internationally awarded. Mahmood Khan is a proud owner of several titles in his music career. He is the first independent artist to get 50 million online video streams. He even topped the ARIA charts for bestselling music solo. All this has been nicely shown in the film.

The journey of Khan through all this makes Journey of a new sound. This documentary, of approximately 40 minutes, was released in 2011 and instantly got great response from Khan's fans. It inspired millions of young artists and his fans, who started to believe that everything is possible once you dare to dream.

Sufi Music From Australia

The most preferred way of expression is music. While some genres of music help to connect with each other, other genres such as Sufi, help to connect with God. The Asian countries are believed to have the richest culture when it comes to this form of music. In the yesteryears, there have been great musicians such as Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Sharif Jansen, Pir-o-Murshid Inayat Khan, and many more.
Sufi music began to get popular in the West between 1910-1926, when Pir-o-Murshid Inayat Khan established a movement in the USA and Europe. Australia became familiar with this music during the same period. It was then, the well known “Sufi Music in Australia” organization was established. This was a huge revolution in the way music was perceived in these countries.

This was the first time when Sufi music was exposed to the rest of the world and the music fraternity had found an all new genre of music. However, Sufism is believed to be the earliest form of music, it did not reach the audience in the west much until the 20th century.

Sharif Jansen is credited with a major role he played in expanding the popularity and love for Sufi music in Australia. Since his death in 1990, this movement has strengthened and now the world audience is always curious to get more from this genre of music. The divinity of Sufi music captures the heart, mind, and body of the listener. This is one reason this genre of music is preferred.
Currently, the most talented songwriter, music producer, and singer Mahmood Khan is on the same path as that of Jansen. He has undoubtedly become one of the most loved global artists, who has constantly delivered music that has touched the soul of millions.

Since Mahmood Khan is a Pakistan born artist, the rhythm of Sufism is in his blood. Hailing from a country that gave world’s finest Sufi artists in the history of music, Khan has lived up to its name. Mahmood Khan has given a lot to the world music industry and there is more to come. He is an active member of the Sufi Movement in Australia (SMIA). This organization releases a weekly journal called "Spirit Matters".

This entity was established as a regional structure initially. However, over the years, it has become one of the largest Sufi organizations across the globe. It has formed centers worldwide and holds regular events too.

Mahmood Khan did make it big in the industry of world music, considering the background he comes from. The simple, Pakistan born artist, has been honored with many awards. No wonder Khan is an idol for hundreds of upcoming and aspiring artists.

What Makes Mahmood Khan Different From Other Music Producers?

Music is an art that connects people and binds them in a relationship that is far beyond expression in words. This is why we fall in love with artists and musicians whom we have never met. It indeed is their art that draws us towards them. One such artist, who has the ability to draw the world through his music, is Mahmood Khan. One of the greatest music producers of all time, an excellent songwriter, and a blessed singer, Khan has raised the standards of world music.

Khan’s music career is filled with milestone achievements that are not easy to achieve. Hailing from a simple family in Lahore, Pakistan, Khan is today, the number one solo artist on the Australian ARIA charts. Not only this, Khan became the first music producer to reach 50 million online video streams.

There is definitely something that no other artist has. This article will throw some light on few things Khan has, which have made him one of the most loved music producers.
  1. His Simplicity
Even though Khan is appreciated and honored globally for his work, he has accepted all with utmost humility. Very few successful people are humble, and Mahmood Khan is one of them.
  1. A vision
Unlike many music producers, Khan knows what he wants to do. Many people do not have a vision, a dream to live, and this definitely makes Mahmood Khan different from the throng.
  1. A sense of contentment
Khan is mostly associated with producing spiritual music that has the power to touch people at deeper inner levels. This all comes from the contention that he has in his mind and heart.
  1. Disregard towards criticism and controversies
Khan has been introvert throughout his career. He has always been disinterested in what critics have to say about his music. This is because he believes in what he does and there is no need for him to be on the top to know that he is worth it.
  1. His regard for the society
While most musicians focus on making a better life for them, Khan’s focus has always been on uniting the world. His songs have a message that is intended to reach the common people. Gandhi said, “The real service of God is in serving the society.” Undoubtedly, Khan takes this as his motto of producing music.

Mahmood Khan releases his albums and solos under his own label, which is not something new as he released his first album "Fairytale" in his own production house. This is something he shares in common with Michael Jackson. Just like Khan, MJ too believed in recording under his own label, due to the reason that the music industry is already flooded with artists and it is hard to convince a producer to launch your work over the other artists. Besides, nothing compares to being your own boss!!

Mahmood Khan And Bollywood

For any artist, his best accomplishments are the ones that have been acclaimed officially. It is a dream of millions of aspiring musicians and actors to get their work appreciated by the audience as well as by other artists.

For ages, the best way of congratulating art has been through award ceremonies. However, over the years, a few things have changed. An actor wants his movie to be a blockbuster at the box office; a musician wants his name to be on the top on various charts. One such artist who had this dream and achieved it, too, is Mahmood Khan.

A well-known musician, songwriter, music producer, singer, and filmmaker, Khan began his journey as any other struggling artist. Born in Lahore, Pakistan, the young artist moved to the USA to make a music career. Sooner, before it was expected, Khan's music was adopted in Bollywood Films.

A prominent appreciation of his work in Bollywood was when his two songs, “Teri Yaad and Janeman”, were taken in the film “Kartoos”, starring Sanjay Dutt. However, there were mixed reactions to the inclusion of these songs in the film. There were also some post- film rumors that said Khan was unhappy about his music being taken in the film. However, later he cleared the air by denying any such rumor.

This number by Mahmood Khan was a major role player in publicizing the film, however, the critics had something else to say. While the audience loved the song and the lyrics, the film critics believed that there was no relevance of the songs in the film.

Sung by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and Udit Narayan, another two great musicians from Asia, the songs had to face lots of controversy. Apart from its irrelevance in the film, critics also said that the song started abruptly in the film and its screening was not good either. However, this never bothered Khan. He always believed in his art and went on to produce his kind of music. Besides, he had nothing to do with the direction or screening of the song in the film.

‘Kartoos’ was released in 1999, and since then Khan has not played any noticeable role in Bollywood. Khan has worked internationally and is the creator of two famous music genres, the Modern Funk and the Hip Hop. As they say, successful people are always humble; Khan has never been in controversy when it comes to international music industry.

Khalil Gibran and Mahmood Khan

They say you need an inspiration to be an artist. And to some extent, this is correctly said. To be able to portray your heart in any art form, you need to have a source of motivation. This stands true in the music industry as well. The international music industry is blessed with great artists who have revolutionized music and its dimensions. One such artist is Mahmood Khan, a Pakistan born, Australia based musician.

From a very ordinary background, all Khan had, were his idols. It was these people whom he looked up to and made a successful career. Although, Mahmood Khan is popularly associated with the Bee Gees, Barry Gibb in particular, there were other people in his life that made him what he is today.

One of them is Khalil Gibran. Gibran was a poetic hero who is best known for his prose. Until today, Gibran is the third best-selling poet. Mahmood Khan's admiration for Gibran is reflected in his Sufi music.

Gibran, a Lebanese artist, was a great poet, writer, and had supreme talent of drawing. In one of his interviews, Khan agreed he is deeply inspired by the philosophical works of Gibran. Gibran wrote his first book ‘The Prophet’ in 1923. It was a record breaker and until today, is one of the finest examples of literature. Gibran died in 1931, but his works are loved until today and will always be cherished. Mahmood Khan went on the record to say that he is in abysmal love with the life and struggle of Gibran. It is indeed righteous to say that some people touch our lives in a way that changes us forever. For Khan, Gibran was that one person who contributed in developing his love for art.
Being highly influenced by his inspirations and idols, Khan has undoubtedly risen as one of the greatest musicians of all time. Indeed, you do need a motivation to follow your dreams. As for Mahmood Khan, there have been many.

Apart from the artists from the music industry and literature, Khan is also influenced by the works of comedian George Carlin. Another one of the most talented artists this industry has had, Carlin was a winner of five Grammy awards, for his comedy albums.

Much has been said about Mahmood Khan’s idols in life. However, there are millions of fans for whom Mahmood Khan is an inspiration.

Why To Convert Music To 432 Hz?

For a long time, musicians have discussed the preference of 432 Hz frequency over any other frequency. The reason behind this is deeper and meaningful. Experts in the field of music and consciousness recommend making use of this frequency. However, why they think or say so is a big question.

There are several reasons behind it. In fact, the great musician Mahmood Khan performed live at the Sydney Opera House where he played “Like the River” song on this frequency. The concert was held in November, 2013, however, this fact was not revealed until January, 2014. When asked, Khan said that he had studied and researched a lot on the technicalities of music, and found that 432 Hz is a frequency to which human body responds naturally.

Here are a few reasons why Khan thought of converting his music to 432 Hz frequency –
1.      It is a healing notch. This frequency is built in such a way that it heals the mental stress and relieves the listener from emotional blockages. When Mahmood Khan played at this frequency at the Sydney Opera House, he quoted that he was really excited when he performed at 432 Hz, as he was able to entertain and heal his audience at the same time.

2.      Also, 432 Hz frequency is said to be consistent with the patterns of the universe, mathematically. This frequency brings together the properties of light, time, space, and matter. As a result, there establishes a biological connection of the DNA with the nature and helps to magnify our sense with it.

3.      Studies have revealed that there is a minor difference between the 432 Hz frequency and 440 Hz. Music at 432 Hz gives an inward experience and is directly related to the heart and the spine.
4.      This frequency has the capability to even heal physical illnesses. As the experts say, the response of humans to this frequency is natural, and it becomes easier to let go of the physical blockages. Khan says that it is his careers’ wonderful discovery and thus, he takes honor in being able to help his audience this way.

None of us can understand the beauty of this frequency, until we experience it. It has an incomparable divinity that touches everyone at deeper levels. All said would be less, so simply listen to Mahmood Khan’s ‘Like the River’ and you will know what we are talking about.

Mahmood Khan’s Dedication To Robin Gibb

Music is something that binds people of all ages. It is an old saying that when everything else leaves, the music stays. The music industry worldwide has seen many great musicians who have changed the meaning of music in their own terms and made it a medium to touch the lives of the masses.

One such musician is Mahmood Khan. Born and brought up in Lahore, Pakistan, Khan moved to LA, USA in the late 1980’s. His few first contacts in LA included the Bee Gees. The famous music band the Bee Gees, consisted of three brothers, Barry Gibb, Maurice Gibb, and Robin Gibb. Khan was close to all three of them in different ways. While Barry Gibb held a place like that of an inspiration, he was more of a father figure for Mahmood Khan. Today, Barry is the only surviving member of the Bee Gees.

On the other hand, the twin brothers, Maurice and Robin, were like brothers to Khan. Robin and Khan had a relatively closer relationship and shared a different bond. On the demise of Robin Gibb in 2012, after a prolonged fight against cancer, his fans were shattered and so was his closest friend, Mahmood Khan. When Khan recovered from the shock of the loss of his friend, he started writing an album on their relationship. As told by Khan, it was really hard for him to get over this tragedy and hence he thought of creating a masterpiece album in dedication to his lost friend.

In Khan’s life, the Bee Gees were among one of the closest people to him. And  the prominent proof of their relationship was made public when Khan produced an album named "Hum Do”, meaning the two of us, in the memory of Robin. This album was something that touched the hearts of millions of fans of Khan.

The inside story behind this album was revealed by Mahmood Khan, after it was released. Khan told the media that he got so involved in writing this album that he completed the project within one month. While he was writing the songs in English, he did not realize that he had started writing in Urdu, his mother tongue. It was then, he remembered that Robin used to say, ‘Music has no language, but is a feeling’. So, Khan continued to write in Urdu and the outcome was a soul touching "Hum Do".

Mahmood Khan - The One Who Overruled The Cultural Barriers

It is said that music has no limitations and unites every culture. However, seeing it happen is a rare sight. One can find few artists who have outrun the boundaries of nationalities and removed the barriers of culture and language from the divinity of music.

To name one of them, Mahmood Khan, a Pakistan born and Australia based artist, indeed defied all the barriers when it came to music. He started his journey at a very young age of seven, when he was already playing musical instruments such as guitar and piano like a pro. Later, at the age of thirteen, Mahmood could write original songs in Urdu. This was something astonishing for a young child to do. But as they say, talented people are the blessed people, and so was Khan.

However, in late 1980’s, Khan moved to Los Angeles, USA, and officially started his music career. Even though he is a Muslim by religion and a Pakistani by nationality, today he is one of the most popular artists in Australia and America. This became possible because Mahmood Khan accepted all countries and religions as his own. In fact, he released his career's successful music albums in English, which is not his mother tongue. The blockbuster “Like the River” proved that Khan’s music was far above languages.

Khan proved it once again that the only religion he knows is that of humanity, when he produced "Enuff Misfortune" in the memory of those who lost their lives in the 9/11 attacks. This was Khan's way of expressing that he was grieving deeply on such a huge loss to humanity. The fact that Khan started his music career from the USA, further deepened his aggression at this cruelest face of the human race.

Mahmood Khan has always delivered music that sends a constant message of peace and humanity, worldwide. Even the audience has embraced Khan and his music with open arms. The biggest example of this is the ARIA charts of Australia, when they rated Khan’s solo soundtrack as number one on their list. To quote another example, it would be best to mention the official recognition of Khan as “The Distinguished Talent” by the Australian Government. Instances like these keep the hope alive that some day the world will live in peace, as the music fraternity does. The day this happens, humanity will be far beyond the illusionary, self-destructive boundaries.

The Impact Of Barry Gibb On Mahmood Khan

Barry Gibb, one of the Bee Gees, is considered one of the greatest music producers of all time. With a legacy of 45 years in the music industry, Barry is a proud owner of tons of experience and millions of fans. Not only this, there are several other artists who have deeply admired the work of Barry and have made him their inspiration. The music industry would always be deeply grateful to artists like Barry for giving a new vision to the world of music.

Mahmood Khan, a young boy from Pakistan, had a burning desire to establish himself in the international music industry. Completely alien in Los Angeles, USA, Khan knew a few people there. One among them were the greatest Bee Gees and its members. Since then, Khan holds a close relationship with the three Gibb brothers, and has had various levels of comfort and affection with each one of them.

Barry Gibb, in particular, had a great impact on the life of Mahmood Khan. Every successful artist has an idol in his or her life, to whom they look up to and whose work they admire. Barry was Khan’s idol. In the initial years of establishment, Khan learnt a lot from Barry. In fact, much credit for Khan’s great music direction skills goes to Barry. While Robin Gibb and Maurice Gibb, the other two members of the Bee Gees, were close to Khan on a personal level, Khan saw a great teacher in Barry Gibb and always respected him.

In one of his latest interviews, Khan discussed his views on the legendary Barry Gibb. He had nice things to say about Barry, which included the statement that Barry is one of the most talented and hard-working artists Khan had ever come across in his career. Also, Khan added that Barry is in love with his art and that has made him what he is today.

It is always said that it is extremely important to fall in love with what you do to succeed in it. Khan always followed his heart and has reached great heights in his career today.
Such statements and gestures by
Khan have strengthened the belief that Barry, indeed, has had a great impact on his life. Khan has also been very close to the other two Gibb brothers, Maurice and Robin, who passed away a few years back.
